Everyone knows and fully understands the nature of this new globalized business world. Growth in employment is being seen throughout the world. Staffing companies play a major role in supplying employment opportunities daily. This, however, is not solely a US ideal. In fact, ”according to new research by Ciett, the International Confederation of Private Employment Agencies…China has the most private employment agencies at 49,000…more than the three next largest countries combined” (http://www.staffingindustry.com/site/Research-Publications/Blogs/Craig-Johnson-s-Blog).

It’s difficult to fathom how large the Staffing Industry really is, but it’s clear that we are making a huge impact globally!

As the economy starts picking up and more manufacturers start coming back to the United States, Industrial Staffing has seen a sharp increase in US factory hiring. Organizations of all sorts have engaged our services to help find everything from warehouse workers to the most advanced robotic manufacturing machine operators. These trends are promising for the youth of this country, especially because salaries are rising every day.

“A $100,000 Factory Job. What’s Uncool About That?”

“An aspiring machinist — a popular factory job — can start training at 18 and then do a one- or two-year manufacturing apprenticeship. In five years, he or she could be making more than $50,000. In 10 years, that could double to $100,000.”

Such trends are a great step towards bettering the US economy and decreasing the unemployment rate. For more, click here

Industrial Staffing Services works with our employees incessantly to make them better workers. With such competitive work environments, it is more important than ever to hone in on skills and make yourself better. By looking at your faults and making minor changes in your everyday practices, success is more obtainable.

With so many self- help books, email blogs and training professionals claiming to know “the best practices”, ISSI believes that each person needs to weigh his or her own strengths and weaknesses. Only then can you truly make positive and influential changes to your work habits.

We can only offer what has worked for us. One great idea is creating a To Do List before for the next day of work.

“9 Bad Work habits-and How to Break Them”

“After a long day at work, the last thing you want to do is prepare for the next one. But by making a beeline for the door at quitting time, you’re setting yourself up for trouble the next morning. If you spend most of your day handling minor assignments, you won’t have the mental resources left to give your most important duties the attention they need… take a few minutes the night before-or first thing the next morning as a last resort-to write down the two or three meatiest tasks you need to get done that day.”

Here at Industrial, we are very diligent while insuring that we never discriminate against protected class. We know that it is important to always be a fair and Equal Opportunity Employer. Where we always push to excel is being at the forefront of thinking, and the legal rulings that come out.

With this in mind, we would like to mention that it has been ruled illegal for employers to discriminate based on citizenship.

Discriminating against Non-Citizens

“A review of state and federal laws finds it is illegal for employers to discriminate based on a worker’s citizenship — and there is probably no difference whether the worker is legally or illegally in the United States.”
